I am becoming obsessed with my la-*test*-('") project idea and first DIY speaker project in a long time. The design is simple, I want to mate the 350+Hz true ribbon from my Flatlines to a Magnepan mid/bass panel in a custom built baffle and then use a pair of Infinity Watkins woofers in separate bass towers to handle the lower frequency information. Problem is, I'm needing the taller panels as my current 5' MG-Is (with a ~4' nominal magnetoplanar panel) just won't work.
So, I'm looking for the mid/bass panels from a pair of older Tympanis or even a pair of MG-IIs. I have no need for the treble or any parts that go above 350Hz and as I'm going to build my own baffle, I'd much prefer units that are cosmetically shot. The Mylar needs to be intact with no large (over 3" long) tears and the voice coil relatively repairable, but the rest can be beyond hope. In fact, an ugly otherwise unrepairable pair would be preferable so I won't feel guilty about using the panels in my project -- a project that should give my ~85% of the performance of a pair of Infinity Betas.
Thanks for looking.

I can offer what I've listed in the 'Member's Listings' in trade.

Still looking. My Frankenribbon project is stalled until I can get some of these.

Still looking and I'd like to get going with this.
I'd prefer four Magnepan Tympani bass panels from any model, though two will work.
For what else could work:
2x Magnepan MG-IIs (tweeters rotted is preferable)
4x Magnepan SMGs
2x Acoustat 1+1 (Anyone ever tried an electrostatic/ribbon hybrid before?)
Or basically any flat panel (curved won't work) planar-magnetic or electrostatic speaker at least 6' tall, but preferably ~2' that will work well as a lower-midrange through to middle bass driver. Can need repair so long as the damage isn't too bad.
I have whatever I have listed in 'Member's Listings' to offer in trade.

Bump.
What is it about sellers just disappearing? Once is chance, twice is coincidence, thrice is downright disconcerting.
