back in August of 2007 we started having our some of our statistics tracked by Quantcast. since that time the average daily activity at ST has grown by more than 150%. the numbers also show that about half of this activity comes from outside the U.S. making ST a truly international forum. here is the link to the Quantcast numbers for anyone that is interested.

from the entire staff, a hearty thanks goes out to the ST membership, we could not have come this far without you!

I, for one, am happy to be a member here. No trolls or name-callers - just folks who want to discuss audio-related matters and offer their experience and advice to others. ST's a nice place.

I'll second that.

I'll drink to that smile.gif

Really, the best forum for just saying hi and chatting about audio. Music Babes of the day helps too.

I'm happy to be here. My thanks to the mods who invited me!
And as for the international visits, methinks we have Jorge, Alvaro, and Richard to thank for this! laugh.gif

I have so far enjoyed my short time on ST. I look forward to more people joining, because I think we aren't yet to a critical mass. However, I also enjoy the smaller group, and hope we never get like other forums, which are so large that if you are away for a few hours there are 200+ new posts, and its impossible to follow anything. I think the sweet spot is being large enough to easily find an active thread covering something you want to chat about, but still small enough that you can actually have meaningful dialog with familiar members. We will get there!

Thanks to all who started ST well before me joining. Your work is much appreciated.

I´ll make mine Scott´s words.

The great thing about Quantcast and the link provided above is that any of us can check the stats anytime we want and see how ST is fairing. That´s why this thread has been "Pinned".

I wonder if I´m included in those 10% addicts. biggrin.gif

ST is part of my regular on-line rounds. ST has knowledgeable members and no ATTITUDE (for real)!

"Addicts
Addicts are the hardcore segment of a site's audience, who have 30 or more visits to that site in a month. While typically accounting for a very small percentage of the site's total reach these users can easily account for the majority of all site visits."

Link to definition of "addicts"

I'd say "yes" laugh.gif

Sometimes being an addict is a good thing Jorge. biggrin.gif

I would like to extend my thanks to all of the members here, we have a very wide and varied knowledge base here, and members that are willing to share the knowledge that they have.

There are so many good, sincere people here it is truly a pleasure to be part of this community. soundt/thumbup.gif

Nothing against you - American boys - after all i've been very influenced by American culture like most of us in the western Europe, but imho this blend of American/European sound thinking is indeed a very nice cocktail that we have here at Sound Thinking.
I want to express my love and respect to all the members that made The Sound what it really is.

Our Europeans definitely have the spice, so to speak. A great cocktail I would say.

HUZZAH!

Been having a great time here and once I clear my calendar of appointments I will get back into the swing of things.

I don't have an addiction—I have a disease. Treatable by additional acquisitions rolleyes.gif
