Loyal Readers:
The April issue of Affordable$$Audio is now available for free download from: www.affordableaudio.org
Thanks for reading
another great issue Mark. i particularly enjoyed the features on both audio get-togethers and (being the skin-flint that i am) the Oppo universal player. one minor quibble, the Yamaha MX-10000 belongs to Mark B.
Thanks everyone. I think its our best issue yet, with a terrific mix of products and writings. I think it's important to note that we are becoming more international. With writers in Canada, Great Britain, Austria, and Singapore with the upcoming May issue.
Wish I could say that everyone was pleased with the AKFest article, but a few have taken the opposite view. I'll leave it at that, afterall, opinions can never be controlled.
P.S.
As for the Yamaha, oops!!!!
paradigm has a new speaker out..would be cool to get a review pair of those...90+ sensitivity and multi driver and affordable!!! OK some of the drivers like condoms but whatever.
What was seen as wrong with the AKFest article?
Well, if people are finding fault, I'll have to come up with one...
Got it: There's no write-up on the Portland Gathering. Sure would've been fun to read the impressions of others from non-ST forums about the various systems that we otherwise may not read.

I've got somebody working on Paradigm. They are a tough nut to crack, I've sent them 3 snail mails with no response. It's going to take a face-to-face with a rep to get us in the door for reviews.
As for not having an article on the Portland gathering, I just felt that the different forums covered the activities very well, and I could not come up with a fresh view.
Marc,
Great stuff, as usual.
Perhaps you can send someone over here next year to cover the Portuguese Audio Show? Alvaro and I are certain not to miss it, short of an earthquake or similar.
I can provide lodgings, food and transportation, all you have to cover is the airfare.
On second thoughts you´d better come yourself.
