Hi all. Tonight I'm listening to 2 CDs of Jorge's homeland. He sent me 2 CDs. I have listened to them 3 times today. They are awesome. He even explained one for me. Here they are, Rao Kyao- Fado Ballado and Carlos Paredes- Concerto Em Frankfurt. Jorge will have to explain. All I can say is it is wonderful music. Thank you Jorge.

Good Morning Today I'm recording Train- Live At Last. Some very good jams. All around good band. Not exactly hard rock but not bubble gum either. Just a good listen. Buy it you will enjoy it.

Hi all. I ordered 7 Alan Parson CDs. So we are going to do a little bit of Alan. Right now I'm listening to. Extended Versions. Which is like the greatest hits but longer. He just amazes me. All his music to me is good. So if you like his music run out and buy some of his stuff you haven't heard.

I've been wanting this CD awhile. In my opinion it is one of his best. Neil Young Crazy Horse- Live at Fillmore East 1970. This is another one of my suggestions to buy. I know if you buy all I say to buy you will be broke. I know cause I am. LOL

Today we are doing some Grunge. Pearl Jam - S/T. This is just a little pick me up this A.M. I'm going thru the tubes to get some heat in this room. I have to bias this amp today. Today no yard work. Have to do house work. I get to do the hardwood floors. So I'm playing some jams. To get ready. Getting the yard sodded Mon. That is why no yard work.

Hi all I lied. I didn't do squat yestrday. I did get 3 Alan Pason CDs though That is what I'm doing right now Listening to Alan Parsons - Stereotomy. He does alot of different sounds. You never know what is coming next. He has his own sound for sure. I am about to go to another one. It is Eye In The Sky. Just think if you are 50 yrs. old how much music have we seen created in our life. From Chuck Berry to this. We are so lucky. That if we don't like 1 thing we throw it away and try something else. I have 100s of CDs that I like of all different types. Don't think I have Billy Idol though. Might have to get some. In this group we are very lucky. We come from all different walks of life and we have 1 thing in common. Music and our never ending strives to get it perfect. We all love it. We have to. I'm scared to look and really see how much I have tied up in music. I want to thank all who has expanded my life and my CD library. Well the 3rd and last CD is the 30th anniversary of I Robot. This one has a few extra tracks. I thought it was over so I got up and walked out came back and there was music going I hadn't heard before. It is nice to be shocked in this manner.

We are going down story book lane with Judas Priest - Nostradamus. This is a box set. I picked it up thinking of Uriah Heep. I'm glad I did. This a very good box set. I suggest if you like this type of thing. Pick up this set. It is hard not to crank it. Don't know what to write. Wish you were here to hear this.

Hi all. It is the crazy man just jammin in this experiment gone array. We are jammin on this POS Carver equipment. All that matters is we are jammin. Oh what are we jammin to. Well a little Alan Parsons to Train Live. I have the 6 disc POS Denon hooked up. I have no idea what all is in it. Tomorrow I hook the Carver pre to the Creek. I'm getting ready to destroy this room. The jammin cat is here asleep beside my chair.
There is a method to this madness. I'm mad I lost a whole post. Gonna send the Carver CDP to Nakdoc I hope. Well maybe the Creek is a POS too. Maybe everything I have is a POS and my ears are lying. Well if my ears are so is my wallet. I'm tired of the put down of other peoples equipment. It is rude and just rude and shows the square wave ignorance. Electricity is PFM. There is no rhyme or reason to it. I'm not tooting my horn but I have forgotton more about electron flow than most will ever know. Quit being the critics. To be continued.

Well I'm back. Maybe I need a big joint and some Zappa. Naw I took my Valium. I'll cool down in a bit. This is Eye in the Sky by Alan Parsons. Sometimes I get sad; because this music is my life. I learned the sound of good components in the 70s. Yamaha, Rotel, Creek, Nakamichi. They all had their different but great sound. Loved Crown and Hafler and others. There are times I want to just sit down and share it. Not scrutinize it just listen to it. Let it serve its purpose to bring joy into our so hectic life. People need to mellow out. Quit over reading things. I'll probably get in trouble for this post. Once 1 hit 1000 views I'm taking a break. I enjoy this; but I need a break. I know it was my choosing to do it. I apologize for nothing I have written. It is all just my opinion. I am a very lucky man to have all of this and I do enjoy it. If I'm banned by morning it was nice knowing you guys.

Just listened to 2 new CDs. 1 from Foreigner- Can't Slow Down. I'm not a big fan. I like their new stuff better than the old. If you like them I would buy it. It may be their last. The 2nd was Lynyard Skynyard- God & Guns. Had some good tracks. Little to country for me. Doesn't do the old band justice. Keep your money in your pocket. This A.M. i'm listening to FM. This Preamp/ Tuner sounds good but has issues that need taking care of. Will have those address at later date.

Am listening to an unknown artist a friend loaned me. Robb Taylor - The Hourglass. He may have a website. !st song so far is country so is 2nd. Thank God for remotes. Yes he has a website robbtaylor.com. Last song is named rock and roll we shall see. Some of you may like it. It isn't for me. Check out his site you may like him.

Good Morning
Did alot oj jamming last night. Diana Krall , Alan Parsons. Ended up with Led Zeppelin- How The West was Won. Listened to one of the greatest drum solos I have ever heard. Moby Dick. My arms would fall off. I don't know how long it lasted ;but man he was playing. This has to be one of their best CDs. If you didn't know I got a new amp for the new rack I am building. Will start today. The amp is a Phase Linear 700B- 350 WPC. So I have been testing it. I wanted to see if it is a Flame Linear. This amp sounds great. My cat is freaking out over Jimmy Page. L have another pic I'll put up in a min. You have to buy this CD though. Just get on Ebay and buy it.

Good Morning
This morning I'm listening to Alan Parsons-Eve. Good CD. I bought alot of his music lately. I think I bought 7 CDs at one time. The PL amp is still playing. I have to really crank to get the needles to move.
I do have it hooked up to the Norman Labs. Really tell these aren't British speakers. They are more well rounded. Don't get me wrong I like my Epos.. This is a nice amp. The Hafler preamp gets here today. Will see If the sound changes. Well it is time to go.
