Been a week of lab -*test*-('")s and doctor's appointments. So, toda, on the way home from a cancelled appointment I stopped by the GW. Haven't been out at all and things were pretty thin at last look. Came upon a Micro Seiki DD-20 TT. It is in pretty good condition but missing the mat and the headshell may not be stock. It does have a Shure V15 IV cartridge but the stylus as well as its mount is gone. Someone may have tried to get the cartridge as the nuts are gone but there is a mylar shim that held onto the screws. It has the cover but no hinges. May not be near the TOTL but the tonearm looks solid and the speeds are dead on (direct drive). I think it should be at least as good as my Thorens 165. If not I could always use some of the parts, such as the feet, for my DQ-3.

Haven't had time to -*test*-('") it. Cost was $19.99. A little high all things considered but still worth the parts.
Also picked up a book , "The Complete Guide to High-End Audio" by Robert Harley from "Stereophile" magazine. Thumbed through it and it looks pretty informative-50¢.
