Couple weeks ago I pulled out some artwork to frame for a show. Found this in my portifolio. Many moons ago I took some printing classes at a local college. IIRC I was cleaning out some drawers and found this sheet. It caught my eye as July is my birth month. It is a print by Hammermill Papers to promote their paper products and was to be part of a calendar. Odd thing is I took a look at it today and saw that it was to be part of a 1989 calendar and I don't remember taking classes there around 1988 as I had already transferred to another university. It's 17x22 with a line from "Help," and never perforated. Guess it's time for a frame.

I´d love to see a pick of that after it is framed, Jerome.

Taste is a very personal thing, so please take this as just my opinion and not as any sort of advice. I would frame it in a glossy blue or read plain frame with a generous "pass-partout". Hope this term makes any sense to you, I don´t know the equivalent english word for it.

Didn't know where to put this. The Beatles remastered in stereo and mono are out for presale. I just got mine for 189.00 at JR.com. Was 259.00. Wifey doesn't know. All 12 lps. plus documentory. Hope I sell enough tapes to cover it. I know I'm crazy.

the beatles stuff is bulletproof, in terms of collector value.
my son is 24 and he completely gets it.
I wore a beatles tee to the grocery store the other day
and the bag girl said, "cool shirt! Great band."
I have a half dozen of their early albums, on Capitol,
jackets and discs in excellent condition, that I picked up at
a garage sale for 50 cents each. Listened to Abbey Road
the other day. Doesn't get better than that.

On this side of the Pond they call it "Matting." The "cardboard" frame(s) cut out to reveal the artwork. I've been picking up frames at the thrifts and garage sales to prepare for an upcoming show so looking to make an extra fit this piece.
