| Sansui AU-717 is an awesome unit. I've had one since I bought it new in college c1979 at Stereo Discounters in Landover, MD (IIRC). Man, what I'd givce for a warehouse shop like that again .... Anyway, superb unit. Enjoy it. |

| You know there's a couple of different rack handles, as well a aluminum and plastic..... |

Listening to my TU-717 right now, and soon it will be paired up with my AU-719, which should be back soon from grateful's workbench! ![]() They will be (eventually!) mounted in a rack with an SC-3110 that is awaiting servicing, a Nikko EQ-35, and when I can find one that I can afford, an AT-15L timer! Finally, I'll have a system of matching components, might make this place look a little less like I get all my gear from curbside on trash day! |

Birddog: With the selection you have, your choice of the AU-717 is a recommendation that cannot be ignored. I wish I had kept my Yamaha NS-200M's that I used to pair with my AU-717. Now that was a combo that was detailed, culutured and sublime at the same time. |

Um, I have (Soon!) an AU-719, not an AU-717. My Tuner is a TU-717. The AU-717 is a great unit as well! Doubt I could tell them apart in the dark! Keeping an eye out for those harder to find rack-mates, the AT-15L, The AX-7 mixer, and if the good lord above smiles on me, the rare P-1 Parametric EQ! Now that would make for a nice Sansui rack! Of course, then I would just have to have the Sansui rack and rack drawer to mount it all in! It never ends! I'm keeping the faith, even with my very very tight budget, I have been lucky to find a lot of great stuff, and have had several things gifted as well! |

| I wanna be like you, Sam. I have a whole heap of mid-fi here, and want to have about a dozen pieces of HI-FI. But I guess nobody is going to come in and sell all of it for me. There's a vintage audio show in Denver in March, and I'm thinking about calculating the capacity of the bed of my 1-ton pickup, and carting a load down there to liquidate. Have fun with the AU/TU combo. I have the TU-517, and it's fun to listen to AND look at. |
