ah. those 1500IIs, by the way, possess VERY NICE solid die-cast isolators set into an aluminum outer shell. they add a LOT of weight to the chassis. i recently found a set on EBAY, and got them to use on my JVC HR-S8000U S-VHS: ![]() ![]() as far as i can tell, DENON used these on several high end CDP models, from 1987 to 1989. the DCD-1500II being the first to ever sport them. it is also the most common and least expensive of those models to find today... |
