I´m posting this one here, to take the pulse not only of the Administrators / mods, but also of ST members in general.

Of late I´ve been listening a lot more to CD´s in my car due, mainly, to my eldest daughter who is 18, and very much into music, anytime, anywhere.

I have a pretty decent system in my car ( nothing too fancy ) and I usually listened to FM radio only, particularly the news. Now I find myself enjoying more and more listening to my Rock music CDs in the car. Classical still requires the comfort and the acoustics of my listening room, though.

So, what say you? We need a majority vote either way, so post away.

Oh, lest I be accused of fooling ya´ll, I´ll make it clear that the vote doesn´t really matter. As I haven´t consulted with the bosses, it will be up to JP and Kelly to decide, no matter what.user posted image

It could even add the satelite radio type stuff, no comercials, and you pick what genre you want to listen to, I would choose sirius, just cause I have a couple hundred shares of stock. but I think both are good.

as to the car stereo, they can do some really trick things with a car stereo, even the premium systems that are kinda stock sound pretty nice.

I wouldnt be against something like that, but I dont know how much participation it would get,

My son spends most of this time on another forum that is strictly car audio. For a 17 year old, he's pretty sharp. Would probably spend a lot of time here.

PS Jorge - My son isn't opposed to older women. Maybe we should introduce them............

Should we then consider adding a 'Personals' section to The Classifieds?

I can see it now, "24, wm, enjoys books, music, hikes through the woods, and ribbon speakers. Looking for like lover of line arrays and eclectic speakers..." biggrin.gif

At any rate, if there is the prospects of sufficient traffic for a car audio forum, then I see no reason not to have one. Yet, two posters is not quite enough, so the General forum can act as a temporary car audio sanctuary unless more chime in.
