Tubes! Aren't they a little like cocaine? Super expensive and once you get hooked it's a hard habit to break?

Wish I could afford a couple of good amps...

I'd say tube amps are now at least half less than the price of a SS amp that comes close. We seem to have helped bring the price down a lot and btw the A-348 mentioned above is already 2 amps in one, roll in KT-88 tubes ($140 for a quad) for a brand new amp.

And yes they are habit forming One day I'll have to write a song called Tubes.
