Anybody here like crawdads? Do you "suck heads"?

I love crawdads - no head sucking though. What am I missing?

I like the little "mudbugs". As good as lobster, shrimp, and crab.

There's a BBQ joint I get to about once every 2 years, and get 'em. Amazing there! They also sell 'em at the shopping malls up here, at the food kiosks, but they are lousy at best.

Crawdads or Crawfish?

I've known them as Crawfish.. and i like sucking heads.

Crawdad, Crayfish - same thing. Why do you suck the heads?

sucking the heads gives you the juicy goodness that's inside. it's quite good tasting.

...and it makes them happy.

Next time I have crawdads I'll give it a try.

After boiling I don't think any amount of sucking will make them happy.
