on the speaker side i use spades on the low end and bananas on the top. used to run all bananas but thought i should give spades a try ... i found no difference. at the amps i run spades on the low end - because thats all they'll take and bare wire on the high end because that works best.

With some speakers I totally agree. The B&Ks really transformed the Thiels. The a/d/s/ not as picky.


I imagine the Yammies work well with the Vandies.

I dunno if you knew this, but I've read PSE components were a choice of Richard Vandersteens, and used in voicing the 2c models (or 2ce/i?).
