say, isn't that a PD-M500 CDP there? you still have it, elroy?
I had 2 of those, tossed one of them, or its in the garage somewhere because it was skipping, I got a pdm 405r for my garage system, which is in house because I am getting a new heater/AC installed later this week. I use the kenwood ka-8100 and a small set of wharfdale 2600's i believe for my garage listening experiences.

ah, thanks, elroy. i just got a copy of the PD-M700, the TOTL model from the same series as the M500, for my sister Angela. it'll be replacing the cosmetically thrashed PD-M50 she is currently using. me? i'm quite content with my PD-M90X...
this little sister of my reference CDP, the illustrious PD-3000(91), is serving me very well in the 3000's temporary absence...

So- let me get this right-
The Yammie is doing main duty with the DAC.
ThePD-M500 is in the garage system now? And the second is in storage due to skipping?
Lastly, what's the status with the NAD player?
Thanks,
Paul

lets see, I got the marantz also in main system, just for comparison purposes,
the pdm 500 was#### canned, the wifes boyfriend gave it too me, and when I found out she had a boyfriend and then the 500 started skipping so I tossed it in the garbage, I wasnt too attached to it.
I got a denon that dingus let me use, it skips and is on the garage floor, also got a harmon kardon 5 disk tray cd/dvd changer that has a burr brown chip, but it has a hard time recognizing the cd. once it does it works,
and the NAD, that went bye bye also, those were JP's and they never worked when he sold them too me. I had two of them. one for parts,

Was over at dingus's yesterday morn, and his system is way smoother than mine right now, I have my system crammed in the new man cave "formal dining room", its a little cramped and really throws the sound at you,
on a positive, I used to say that most of the 70's-80's mastered disks were lacking in the low end, well thats not a problem in the new room.
