Thanks for answering my question before I asked it, Jorge.

I'm sure it sounds nice, but for 7-grand, I want something that
sounds.... mucho muy GRANDE.

Did I hear you say 10-thousand dollars for a receiver???

Let the hemorrhaging begin!

If I bought that and had any intention of actually using it, it would go straight to EchoWars for a complete evaluation.

Wow. Did you see the size of those woofers? That thing would knock the plaster off the walls! soundt/post-2-1162594343.gif

Although the woofers look impressive, the actual sound quality of Sansui speakers isnt all that great. They are very efficient, so it doesnt require much power to drive them. A G-33000 is overkill for these speakers. The large woofers remind me of the Infinity SM models, where again, the large woofers look impressive, but for anyone who desires more audiophile-oriented sound quality, they dont really cut it.

I'm just glad my hearing isn't good enough to justify an $8000 expense for a receiver!

Even though it IS a Sansui biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
