Hello everyone. I found this forum while reading up on tubes. I have always been intrigue with tubes since I got into this hobby last year. I audition a few tube setup at a local shop carrying Audio Research, Cary Audio, BAT and others. All sounded sweet but too much for my bear budget. Also, it's hard to know how a piece of equipment will sound until it's setup in your room with your a/v gears.

This demo trail is an excellent way to audition. If it's not too late, I like to participant in the program.

Darron, how goes it with the tube buffer?

I know we sent e-mails privately but I would also like to be added to your list to try your tube buffer. Especially since you know I own two sets of Yaqins with the single twin triode 6DJ8 / 6922 variant from Pacific Valve and also a Musical Fidelity X10v3. Would make for an interesting comparison and review.

The power cable demo didn't seem to pan out. Too bad, a few have started to write about the GF PC-1.5 in the GF forum. We've sold out 2 times on them as people buy/try one and end up doing their whole system and stores with them. Kind of like the Lays Chip commercial, bet you can't have just one

Any suggestions on the next GF product to demo?. Do a joint GF/ST demo. The bigger gear requires hefty shipping costs. The CD-327a would be a good candidate at only 25 lbs or so packed. All has to get passed by the boss (Rachel) of course.

The purpose for GF is to of course get some 'real world' user reviews.

That doesn't sound good. I was wondering what was happening with the demo. I was wondering if I was going to hear it and compare it against my Pacific Valve Yaqin and Musical Fidelity X-10v3 tube buffers. Keep me posted.

Any updates on the demo? I am assuming that you are still having difficulty contacting the person who last had the demo unit. Still would like to hear and compare it to my Yaqin single tube and Musical Fidelity and give you my honest opinion.

I know Darron aka fotobits for some years (back to AK days) and he always behave like a gentleman. I think something bad happens to him, because he never act like this before. Maybe if some of our members there are at AK also could provide us more info about him or another member from the same state know something about him...I'm a little concern about what happens to him...
