This is the recipe for a pork roast but you can use any cut you want - the cheaper, the better.
Put a CHEAP pork roast in a crock pot. Add one large choppped onion, a couple cloves of garlic, one can of El Pato sauce (see thread), and enough canned chicken broth to cover the roast. Then, add 1or 2 or 3 or 4 (to taste) teaspoons El Mexicano Carne Asada seasoning powder (another thread). Put the lid on and let it cook all day.
To serve, tear the meat apart (it'll fall apart) and place in a warm flour tortilla, or over rice, or whatever, with a little of the juice drizzled on. Add a little hot sauce or cheese if you want. It's easy, and it TASTES GREAT!
Trust me!

I've been looking for another thread, is that a measuring tool or something like that? or is that a thimble full. which btw isnt that much. without the strings and all, it sounds prettly good.

There was another thread with this info......sorry!
EL Mexicano is a brand of powdered seasonings, and the Carne Asada is one "flavor". Try it!

I do something similar dumping a can of green chili sauce over a pork butt or shoulder. Simple and tastes great!
