Grant Fidelity- 02-22-2008
Very pleased to announce that Grant Fidelity is now distributing GMA speakers in Western Canada, with plans to go to Eastern Canada later this year. Roy Johnson and his speakers have been very well reviewed over the years and we have some future ideas for time aligned speakers for GF, which both studio engineers and home users will enjoy, that SeerMusic/GF thing.

Thanks Clint E.

We've had quite the interest from Europe with GF, now that would be growing too fast smile.gif 2009 we will be there.

I've had literally a ton of speakers over the past year that have come close to having the GF name on them. 2 have made it and will be launched soon. The Green Mountain Speakers are a no brainer for design, looks, price and most importantly sound. A few GF customers have been telling me I have to hear the GMA speakers with our gear. (I'm tempted to type 'GM with GF' smile.gif Like most I'm fairly picky about speakers.

Roy Johnson at GMA is a true pleasure to talk to, a physicist and concert recording engineer with ears and a lifelong history of building great speakers. They are available in Europe with a new distributor coming on line soon. If you get a chance to hear them, I recommend it as an ear opener. I spent a lot of time with time-aligned speakers in the studio with JBL, but they weren't designed for playback, like these are.

I don't know where his new plant is but he used to be 3 blocks from my house in some old buildings behind the Clarks self serve at 28th and Colorado Ave.
Glad to see he has survived and grown. I always thought his speakers were very cool looking if out of my price range back then.

Roy has a new 2 bay facility on 25th and Colorado Ave. After 3 days of working with Green Mountain here (another day to go) I am beyond impressed. Roy is a great guy and his speaker design knowledge (and his speakers) are second to none. I have heard things that I have never heard before from my gear and Roy and the Green Mountain speakers are about to make another big splash with their new line-up.

Roy will by appointment (as in phone first) happily show off the speakers to you and bend your ear a bit about the state of the speaker industry (see the ST 'word of the day' thread wink.gif .

Hey, it's always great to meet a fellow STer. We are auditioning the new Eos III today with our GF Rita. Two of the best that have never been heard by the public together. If you want to drop by and lend us your ears, cool. (636-2500) ask for me, Ian.

Long drive these days as I now live in Mesa Az(job). I sure miss the west side of CS and Manitou though.
