Always something, it doesn't show up in tracking, now the fun begins, hopefully the next phone call will find it.

did you find it?

Jim Eck- 01-14-2009
I will call Fedex back in about 35 minutes, I should here from the guy i got if from around 9:30, I have asked him to verify the tracking number, I have not been able to track it by my Fedex account number is what I am having a problem with FedEx about.

FedEx is no help, so wait until I can get ahold of the shipper and verify the number.

i've had this happen with two packages over the last month, they both showed up a little late but intact.

Jim Eck- 01-14-2009
I heard back from the seller, as I thought a typo when he entered the tracking number, it should be here Friday, if it is not here before I take my wife in for testing I will come back out for it.

Awesome move, Jim.

I've been running the Hafler Transnova P3000 for a couple of years as my main amp, and at 150wpc, with the amp outputs set to -6db I seldom turn it beyond about 10 o'clock on the volume. Altho mine goes to 11, I was running it at 2 or 3 the other night with a female friend over, and it was providing great sound out of my Polk M7s. I'm happy for you, and I hope it goes smoothly. Looking forward to hearing how it powers some of your fave speakers.

Besides the XLR outputs you mentioned, and some cosmetics, what else differentiates it from the home unit?

Beefy amps, these Hafler 500s....

also i think the pro edition was never in kit form. i think it was built after the name hafler was sold.

Since I melted down the Yamaha I was using (to low of impedence for to long, to loud biggrin.gif ) I have been using my P-1500. I have an Adcom 585 that is going to Echowars soon. My plan is to run the Hafler till I get the Adcom back, then to hook the Adcom to the mid to highs and the Hafler to the mid and low end, my speakers have built in crossovers for this purpose, they are very power hungry speakers, rated at 4 ohm but I am sure they dip much lower than that. Splitting like I am planning will put each amp back into the 8 ohm range.

Here are a couple of nudies, one with flash and one without, pretty dirty inside. but I would expect that with a fan.

I just powered it up, not hooked to anything but powered up. It imediately came out of protection and gave me a green ready light. The fan is quiet! I have to go to work for a couple hours this morning, sound check later.

I couldn't wait, it is hooked up, I only played a minute of George Benson at very low volume but all works, family still sleeping, this afternoon beverages and a work out for it.
