Hi,

Please can you tell me how to add photo's/pictures smilies & just about everything else.

I have looked at the 'help' pages but cannot find any reference to any of these items.

Also on ST is there a forum for vintage hifi & if so where is it please.

I have also posted several 'posts' with glaring mistakes, spelling & grammar, can you edit a post once it has been posted & if so how, please.

Thanks

willie

PS Apologies if this is posted in the wrong spot!

There should be an Edit button at the top right of each of your posts.

To add a picture, scroll down to File Attachments and hit Browse. Open the picture you want and then add you post.

Here is a picture of the Sanyo Plus 200 of which only four were ever made.

smilies are easy, when you get to the part of the post where you want a smilie, from the left panel just click the one you want and it is added automatically.

the larger smilies in the lower panel have their code made available for pasting into your post when you click on them.

photo's can be uploaded from your computer by clicking the "Browse" button in the File Attachment section and selecting the file from your hard drive.

if a pic is already on the net you can simply copy its web location and use the "IMG" button from the Code Buttons section to paste the web location into your post. image hosting services like photobucket.com are useful for storing your photo's on the net and making for easy access using this method.

as of yet we have no separate forum for vintage gear, for now it goes with all the other gear in the existing forums.

you can edit your posts up to 90 minutes after the original post has been made.

I may have induced you in error here, when you asked vor vintage audio brochure scans.

I did say we have one already, but it is a thread rather than a separate forum. You can find it in the " Genaral " forum as a "Pinned" thread.:

Hope this is what you were looking for.

It's like being in Venice or Rome, too much to see in a day!!!!!!!!
