With enough experimenting, I think I am getting it down. There is a fine line between charcoal and a good roast. But what I have noticed about roasting my own beans is the smoothness of the coffee, no bitterness, no acidity at all. But if you like your coffee real strong I think you would need the right type of bean. I dont believe I have that type.
I could actually drink coffee all day on an empty stomach if I wanted to. It is that smooth. I cant wait to finish this bag of beans so I can try different style of bean.
