May be!! Just for the benefit of the true audiophiles, here are the specs on these "horns":

6" -
Wt. - 26#
Air Consumption - .45 cu. ft./sec. @ 40-140 psi
Freq. - 190 cycles per sec.
120 db @ 25'
Audible range - 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 miles.

8"
Wt. - 45#
Air Consumption - .85 cu. ft./sec. @ 40-140 psi
Freq. - 168 cycles per sec.
120 db @ 25'
Audible range - 2 3/4 - 3 3/4 miles

10"
Wt. - 70#
Air Consumption - 1.4 cu. ft./sec. @ 40-140 psi
Freq. - 140 cycles per sec.
123 db @ 25"
Audible range - 3 - 3 3/4 miles.

The "horns" sit on a ported manifold with a 2"intake. Each horn has it's own "crossover" (inlet port restrictor) for fine tuning. The current diaphrams are brass, but I may replace them with stainless steel, which the mfg. now uses.

It will take at least a 185 cfm compressor to sustain ( I have a 2000 cfm!!!)

Interesting, the similarities to speakers, isn't it?

PS No, I haven't -*test*-('")ed it yet. Gotta clean it up first.
