So,

How do you "sleeve" your vinyl?

Do you do it with the sleeve "opening" at the top of the record, or off to the side?

To the side, probably not the 'correct' way, but convenient.

Remove entire sleeve from jacket, insert with slit toward top of album.

i'm an on top kind of guy (for the few lp's i have). also got a pack of 100 fancy non-static and clean sleeves.

Slit up unless I'm lazy.

LPs I bought new back in the day, slit up at the top.
Used LPs, slit on the side.
Why? Good question. laugh.gif

I used to buy Diskwasher brand VRP sleeves and when I bought a new album I placed it into one of them and put the original liner inside the cardboard album cover and then slid the album in with teh opening up then placed everything into a plastic album cover. My albums are identical condition to the day they were bought, some of them when I was in highschool in the '70s.

Inside sleeve to the top.
Outside sleeve to the side.

Sleeve opens to the top, making it less likely the LP can roll out of the entire sleeve by accident.
