most are considered super metals, the Maxell Vertex(2), TDK MA-XG(7,new style 1990), TDK MA-XG(2,old style, alloy frame 1987),Denon MG-X(4), Sony Super Metal Master(5) + other assorted goodies!! These should make the finest recordings possible on my Nakamichi deck, I'm also still using/demoing the IC's dingus and elroy made , so I've/I'll be quite busy.

Yes, I like the sound of a well recorded cassette tape, I'm a TapeNut and proud of it , we all hwve our preferances as to what sounds good and synergy of all associated parts of the whole make the best music possible, though as we all know here at ST, it's never really enough is it folks hence, some of ya'll might think I'm crazy to spend $150 + on outdated old, used software for my sick habits..s'all good!

IIRC the metric measurements make things bigger, for the conversion, I'm from the national state of Texas, so we say buttload, I never even thought it bein' takin' the wrong way till you mentioned it, !! I plead the fifth.

What's a metric buttload? Is this where the metric descriptors come into play like "mega-"? I'm not sure a kilo-butt is very flattering?
