When I bought my last Sansui tuner, it came with a pair of JBL L80T speakers. Both woofers had bad surrounds, bandwhen I took one apart, I found that the cast aluminum basket had been destroyed. The speaker still works, but I would like to find another basket.

I deal with a bunch of wheeler-dealer stereo guys here in San Jose, which is how I end up with all of my junk.

Gordon W ended up with an orphan driver, re-foamed it, and sold it to me for $50, with a matching new foam for the other one that's bad.

Now I'm waiting for YOU to come for a visit and show me how to re-foam speakers!!! I've got a lot of GREAT trading material!!!

I better call in the search parties. I have all of my birddog scouts combing the Valley for that woofer.
They're going to come up with more junk for me. I just know it!
