I'm told these speakers are big in Europe and they sound good. In other words they are getting good ratings. Well I've been speaking with the distributors here. They say they have modded the N.A. speakers for the U.S. The d1s have Morel drivers while the d2s have vifa drivers.
Has any of our european friends heard these and wwhat do you think?

In recent years there has been a steady parade of Chineese of hi.end audio products offering shockingly good value and sonics for very reasonable prices. Companies like Opera Audio(Consonance), Aprill Music(Stello) and Usher Audio made a profound impact in the audio scene, but i never listen to JungSon speakers and never heard of them either.
Here's their page :

I have never herd them either, but I can´t deny they look great, with great design and finishes along the lines of Sonus Faber ( copies, really ).

I very much doubt they use Morel or Vifa Drivers, though.

The Morels are the BD1's and the BD2's are the Vifa's and they are the real thing. We know, we are working with Jungson on these and various GF/Jungson products. Jungson in China is considered 'the' premiere audio company. Jungson builds for at last count 8 major high-end audio manufactures that hide that fact. Their own products are their own designs and in most cases better than what they OEM/ODM.

As with most Chinese audio manufactures there are cheap knock-offs or cheaper 'for China only' copies that get sold out of Hong Kong/eBay, with zero factory or distributor support.

It is being a hard time burning them in. Or maybe I'm looking for a sound that isn't there. If it isn't Then I would lower the xover to have more treble. I may be wrong but it depends on the speaker. When I build my xover point was 1500 or 1200. If there are resistors in the xover I'd remove them . With this speaker you only need a 1st order xover. The woofers sound big they sound like an 8 or 10 inch woofer. You need to get the tweeter to match. I'm going into the shop today. I've been sick. I'm going to do a blind -*test*-('") Sat. After I've burned them in more. The song used will be the Eagles Hotel Califonia in accoustic.

I'm still waiting for the complete burn in on the TAD 805's under seperater thread. What I'm finding in general is the value to dollar (or Euro biggrin.gif ) is terrific. There is no denying the inroads the Chinese have made and that it's not limited to the expected knock-offs.

Maybe another week or so for the final comments; meantime enjoying the experience immensely soundt/carrot.gif
