Just look at the output specs. A doubling of output with each halving of the load really is quite extraordinary.

Sorry amigo, but you're given Krell a bad name...
This is a class H amp.
From what i know this kind Class-H amps isn't meant for Studio or hi-end hifi, but its meant for PA like QSC, CREST or STUDIOMASTER.

Class-H are really efficient when the output voltage swing is about 60% of Full output. That's a lot of power for an average living room.
Of course if you're desperate for power....
