Anyone heard from Ozmoid?
He sure stirred things up a bit here at "Last post wins " when he joined, but he has been awfully quiet lately.

It appears that Ozmoid chose to leave for some reason. He changed his forum email to a nonsensical address, but that was his choice and I went ahead and validated the change.
Remember folks, if you've a beef with one of the admins, mods, or another member, be sure to make use of the feedback system so we can fix issues. We can't guess at them and that's why the provisions for it are there.

Very odd, makes you wonder. Been a few.
PS, I'm in the lead!

Max may not be home yet. He's walking kinda slow for a few days.
When Max was here a few weeks ago with the St Bernard, he got into a habit of whizzin' every morning on the neighbor's house he was remodeling. While Max has been gone, the neighbor put up chicken wire on the outside to get ready for stucco, and during the recent wind stroms, the chicken wire rubbed through the insulation on the 220v wires going to the house. Every now and then when the wind blew, the wires would short out and charge the chicken wire. Well, Saturday night Max walked over to the house and lifted his leg just as a gust came up, and you know how electricity travels up a stream of water. Well, it didn't kill him, but you know how dogs lick their wounds, and Max had to "embarass" himself in front of all the ladies. It wasn't pretty. I feel sorry for Max.
Larry
PS This really happened years ago when some friends were remodeling their house!
I think Max has broken another heart. I got a crying email from Magnolia. Seems Max left another one at the alter. Must have been on his way to your place Larry, sure couldn't have been on the way home.

As he hobbled off, he said something about going to church - I thought maybe he had changed, but I guess not.

Well, if he is a Catholic, he might have gone for confession.
Ok, I know, no religion here, I just couldn´t help myself. In my defense I guess most of you are aware I´m Catholic myself.

Forgive me for a serious post,
Ross, how did the house hunting go?
Jim |
While we did not fall in love with any particular house we did see and learn alot. House prices have definately risen in the Oregon Il. area. They are still significantly lower than Denver. Our current home is a 1920's craftsman style bungalow and we love it but the new place I think will be a bit more contemporary. We have spent 12 years renovating this place and we really don't feel like going though that again. More trips will be coming up to find the best possible house. Thankfully we have time and do not have to rush into anything.

So, Larry, ready to start the race for 1400? You might have to cut mod school and post hard.
Jim
It's homecoming week, so I can probably sneak out.................................
I win and this thread is now closed. I will be opening a new LPW thread soon.
