Wow, what a hang over! Max was in town to prefish for the Bighead Carp fishing Tournament in Bath IL in a couple of weeks. That dog can put down some Tequila! And the women, well I can't say here in a family public forum, lets just say he would be a tough act to follow.

By the way Larry I think he ditched the Burro now, what a heart breaker.

Here is some more about the Tounament, an article from Outdoor Life, I can't find a picture of the Tavern, it is an old paddle boat, every once in a while somebody will cut her loose and then they have to go down river and bring her back.

Max was last seen heading down the Illinois River heading for the Mississippi and from there who knows, beware, he may show up at your door, by the way, what would you need 3 flats of strawberries, 5 pounds of chocolate, a fondue set, and a fishing net for?

Another couple of weeks to go, thank goodness.

The wife just can´t see me doing nothing, so she´s arranged for me to repaint two of our kids bedrooms. I´m taking my time though.

My daughter starts her Sophmore year today. Time flies!!!!

My son starts his sophmore year at College this year also.

The fall isn't so bad...it's the sudden stop at the end that hurts.

A Max update. He did indeed make his way toward the Mississippi where he stowed away on a riverboat casino some brindle bitch in tow. After breaking into the liquor vault and consuming mass quantities of tequila he attempted to buy into a Texas Holdum game. Informed it was a no dogs allowed game he got a little nasty. My understanding is that the dealer will recover after the 137 stiches are removed. Max and the bitch were set ashore somewhere near Wolf Lake IL. where he hopes to meet up with some distant relatives. I'm thinking a long stint in rehab is due if he ever makes it back to Denver. I will of course post updates.
