What I was questioning, was not your reasoning, but the ridiculous extremed positions into which many of us let ourselves slide when we take matters too much at heart.

A small 2" paper cone with stiff suspension on a TV box can hardly affect the output of big Celestion Ditton 66´s or Linn Isobariks towers. Or can it?

If you downsize to a 19" trinitron, you could start building another rack! and if you go small on the TV, you could move the recliners closer to the your system and bask in all the glory.
