I just started a new thread about some speakers I picked up, and by my own admission it is a bit "wordy". I guess I tend to write a lot when I post, but I was curious if the rest of the ST crowd was actually interested in such posts, or do you all just want the bullet points and pics? You wouldn't hurt my feelings either way, I am just curious.

I just looked at the post. Compared to thedelihaus' posts, it was an abbreviation!!! (just kidding, Paul biggrin.gif )

Being somewhat long-winded myself, I don't mind. I think people usually end up asking a bazillion questions after too short a post, so why not give all the pertinent info at once?

Write what you have to say.
If it is not of interest to a particular reader, or he loses interest,
he can click on something else. The internet is like a TV remote:
Every ADD person's dream.

We all remember from our composition classes the discussion
of the diff between a Subject and Topic.

For instance, I want to know EXACTLY how to refurb my AR-3a speakers
from people who have done it right. Having more information could lead
me to get it right the first time, because we really can learn from
the mistakes of others. I always figure I have bored everyone in the room
when the thread dies with my voice echoing in an empty room.

ditto with the general sentiment here ....

i'll take it in whatever manner you wish to deliver it.

I'll take a long post any day over one where the poster has no more wit or wisdom than to post a box of popcorn icon.

Being a little thick I relish more information about a subject as it takes me a lot longer to "get it" than most.
