Doing some catching up on things. Here is a nudie after a quick wipe down. THe tubes are Aperex and Telefunken (including scope) so appear to be originals. Hooked it up to the 1200 amp and Dynaco speakers then added a Philips cdp. Still takes several minutes for the 1200 to warm up and the relay to noisily kick in. Once the 10B and the 1200 warmed up the sound was remarkable all things considered. There may be a very little hum in the amp but the tuner still sounds great as does the cdp. It is about a third of a step off though. I am amazed at the sound of the Dynacos (more in the Speaker Forum) as they don't look all that impressive. I ran the 10B though its functions and it performed nicely. I don't see any burn in on the scope but have yet to read the manual. I found the "right" case is not the right size-isn't deep enough-so 10B goes back into the other case. So far so good. I'm going to mate the tuner up with another amp and check the hum on the 1200. Serial# is 10-2138.
