Picked up a Marantz 1152DC integrated amp this afternoon. I missed the second half of the Eagles game but no matter, it was worth it. It wouldn't power up so the seller said take it for $25! Got home, replaced the fuse and presto, THREE MARTINI SOUND!!! It needed a balance slider knob, which I have. It also needed a push button, which I had to make. I shaved a 2226B button with a belt sander to make a perfect match. The thing was filthy inside and the controls are still cutting even after what seems like half a can of contact cleaner. Anyways, I'm a happy camper. It will go good with the 2110 scope tuner I picked up last month.

Here's a pic of my 1152DC and 2110. They have displaced my Yamaha CA-2010, for now. I split the output from my CDP so I can have a scope image of my CD's. IMO, there is no better show than a Marantz scope!

Nice pick up and they look good together. Saw that one and debated since I'm working with the 1200.

Agreed, the set looks great together. Marantz really got the looks right. I'm sure when they were new, the showroom appeal was fantastic.
I'm glad you left the 1152DC for me! It is starting to settle into my office. I'm acutally enjoying listening to FM. I have to admit, I stare at the scope quite a bit.

I did the same with the 10B when I hooked it up. Thought about pairing the 1152 with a 2100 tuner but I really should let go of a thing or two and already have a 1060.

I've been listening to KUSC classical station. IMO, classical music has the most interesting looking scope image. I really like following the music on the scope. Horn solos have a circular shape. Kind of nutty but the visual entertainment cannot be best.
I'm considering removing the blue film from the lens to show the scope in native green. (The film can be easily put back.)
