Beautiful.
Let me guess, are you tri-amping?
Or are you just trying to own all the big, beautiful Yammies on your part of the country?
I know, I know, you´re starting your own used Yamaha dealership.

Here's the almost completed walnut sideboard for displaying some of the Yamaha gear I've got. This will be placed along the side wall to the left of the main system.
Looks great mark. I like the straight, clean looks.
Is that solid walnut?

Thanks Jorge. I wanted a simple design. It is solid walnut: 54" long, 33" high, and 24" deep, with 1" thick shelves and 1 1/2" thick ends and center divider. The wider side is to accomodate receivers, like the CR-3020.
It's being built by my brother-in-law, who has put a lot of care into it. Construction is mortise and tenon. It has 6 adjustable levelers built into the ends and center divider, with access for adjustment inside the lower shelves.
Looks awesome and robust.
Mark,
I´m mposting this link for your pleasure.
http://www.hi-fiworld.co.uk/hfw/oldeworlde...ahans1000m.htmlDid you know there was a NS-10000 Speaker? I believe made to match your gorgeous electronics.
I believe you shouldn´t rest untill you get a pair.
Jorge
Thanks for posting that link Jorge. As rare and expensive as the NS-10000's are I may never get a pair. So instead I'll rest until I get a pair.

Correction: the model number is NSX-10000. They are part of the Limited Centennial Edition series of components.
I never even knew they existed. Are there any pics to be seen on the web?

Here's a link to some pics of the
NSX-10000 I don´t get it.
That is undoubtedly a gorgeous speaker, but according to HiFi-World´s review, I quote :
" ... top dog is the anniversary edition NS10000, big enough to make the '1000 look like a Wharfedale Diamond!"That certainly doesn´t seem to be the case here.

First of all, there is no NS-10000, it's the NSX-10000. I've made that mistake myself. As for the size difference, that is a major exaggeration. Perhaps the reviewer was misjudging the size because of the large matching custom stands for the NSX-10000.
NSX-10000 Dimensions
752 H x 450 W x 410 D (29.6" H x 17.71" W x 16.14" D)
NS-1000X Dimensions
695 H x 425 W x 292 (27.37" H x 16.75" W x 11.5" D)
Thank you Mark.
I presume these are very rare. Would you happen to know how rare?
Jorge
It's my understanding that 500 of each of the Limited Centennial Edition components was manufactured.
