Haven't seriously done a yard sale in awhile so I decided to hit one that had some "stereo equipment." I still didn't get down there until noon. When I got there I think the seller was doing the dirty with the GF as it took 10 minutes of doorbell before he answered. After almost 20 miles I wasn't leaving There was a JBL Lancer 77 in the driveway. Woofer surround was cracked. Got inside and saw nothing in the way of equipment. then saw some huge boxes in one corner . Grabbed the top one and a mounted woofer fell forward. Recognised a JBL Flipped it over and saw that it was a D130. Nothing else in the box . Pulled out the second box ... empty. Double darn. The back from the first box was against the wall and when I flipped it over I found a JBL nameplate and label, "C-40 Harkness." Realised that the boxes were to have legs ... MIA. No other drivers or crossovers. The back to the second box was all messed up. It was cut in half and mounted with a pound of screws. WTF. GF came out and said that there was another speaker in a back room. Raced back and found an L100,no grill, mid seems frozen but woofer looked good. Oh well. Got the D130 driver, L100 and L77 for $8. More parts. The D130 has an O.C. Speaker label on it. Don't know what they did but the surround is noticeably mounted wrongly to the back of the cone. Seller is going through the house some more so he said to give him a call tomorrow.
