Interesting....

I'd take it all with a grain of salt though, as there's most likely elements of truth to it, but it's too vague to be a definitive judge of character.

Nice post though- you always come up with some outstanding posts, Alvarro.

No Doo-Wop. Maybe I'm dead already................ laugh.gif Probably akin to the Chart/Pop

I am rather amused with the Rock/Heavy metal definition. Don't suppose drugs has any thing to do with that...... soundt/confused-smiley-013.gif

(That was the old man in me speaking)

thats a very general take on genre and looks to me to be more stereotypical than analytical.

Elroy- 09-15-2008

interesting Bullshit

even the combining of rock and metal is a crock

You going to tell me a Beatles or Fleetwood Mac fan has the same personality traits as a Judus Preist or Metallica fan?

Scott you've meet me and we have hung out a few times would you by any stretch of the imagination say I'm not outgoing and that I'm a gentle person? I can tell you I work my ass off both at work and around the house. Heck I haven't taken a break or lunch at work for 4+ years as it cost production time.

And low self-esteem ROFLMAO

The only part of this crock of#### I'd go along with is that I am certainly creative.

ROCK/HEAVY METAL Low self-esteem, creative, not hard-working, not outgoing, gentle, at ease

And my tastes run from the Beatles to Pink Floyd to Camel to John Coltrane.

Because i like all kinds of music and my tastes vary from bossa nova or blues/jazz to rap punk and hard rock, seems like i have everything: The good the bad and the ugly... biggrin.gif

Anyway, imo an interesting/subjective but funny study of Professor Adrian North of Heriot-Watt University.

"One of the most surprising things is the similarities between fans of classical music and heavy metal. They're both creative and at ease but not outgoing.
More than 36,000 people from all over the world were asked to rate 104 musical styles and also questioned about aspects of their personality."

now don't get me started LOL

emaidel- 09-20-2008
Well, at the very least, I'm "creative," as that fits most of the musical categories I like. Still I think the characterizations are a bit hard to swallow.
