I have enough stuff sitting around to keep me busy. Currently I just got a Dual A505-2 running correctly, that is why the ground wire is hooked to the rack handle on the Preamp, now clean it up and get it on that place. It is actually very handy for those garage sale treasures you bring home and want to find out if they work or not, don't you hate dragging out a receiver, speakers or whatever just to hook something up to see what it needs?
You do have to love the great big knob of tuning, Young Frankenstein type,

The Nakamichi 610 Control Preamp has a pink noise generator as well as 1k, 5, and 10k -*test*-('") tones, phase inverter, as well as mixing capabilities. It was designed to be used as a recording preamp. Here are some borrowed pictures,
