Did you see my new Infinities? My buddy, the one that really wants the DQs, went with me to go get those too and he's heard them a little bit. He's a budding audiophile and has pretty much clued in that if I am chomping at the bit on speakers they are probably OK. He doesn't know it yet but I'm thinking the Infinities for him instead of the DQs and it doesn't hurt that they are 8 Ohm too... He dreads having to buy special amplification right off the bat... so we'll see!

Just a thougth:

When you found that resistor always remember that we shouldn't mount resistors hard against the pcb, instead having a slight gap between the resistor body and the PCB .
This allows the resistor to heat up with less stress on the body to electrode connection and reduces the heat transferred to the PCB. wink.gif
