Ally, do you rund the vandy's and the 710's in the same system?

No, for the most part, the L-710A's live under my dining table. In a Mnahattan apartment, there simply isn't the room to run both. They come out, about once a month, so I can remeber how good they truly are. Hopefully, I will be able to get a bigger place in the future and pull out an old Scott tube receiver from storage for the 710's, as they've always sounded best with tube power.

cool. I might take my tube sansui to dingus's one of these days, cause he has a host of different ar's

rats JP!!! I only know they sound real friggin nice, nicer than any amps I've heard so far(and they're still only running about 95%, they still need a small amount of work). It's hard for me to describe what I'm hearing, I was never good at art either! laugh.gif BTW, the ol' memory aint what she used to be!! soundt/afro.gif

BroonsBane- 10-09-2006
I bet they sound damn fine! What else can you say smile.gif

bolly- 10-26-2006
I've just returned from Peter's home with my second, I'll be listening tomorrow to two tuned-up PA100Mk1's! soundt/afro.gif

dingus- 10-26-2006
best of luck Greg, hope he got all the bugs worked out.

bolly- 10-26-2006
thanks Scott, I haven't listened to any tunes for a week now!! sad.gif

I'm happy to say fellas, that two of my Electrohome PA100Mk1's have been performing magnificently now for the past month. I've ran them for upwards of 10hrs at a stretch, mainly on the weekends as the wife usually has flyball practice and I'm kinda greedy when it comes to my stereo laugh.gif So yeah, I'm really friggin happy with them! soundt/afro.gif

dingus- 11-27-2006

Thanks Scott, Alvaro! Can't wait till the weekend to spin some more vinyls!! BTW, I figured a new rack pic was due as I've sold the SPEC gear some time ago, replaced the SPEC-1 with the Pioneer C-90 pre.
