Well, after my mis-adventure selling this amp before (had a bad mica insulator on a heatsink-mounted driver transistor, that didn't make itself known until AFTER I had shipped it, so I refunded the purchase and had it shipped back), I decided to go completely through this amp, making SURE everything was up to correct standards.
Replaced some previously-replaced caps (IMHO, botched "upgrade" done by someone before I got the amp) with the CORRECT ones (type and value), replaced ALL insulator pads on ALL heatsink-mounted transistors, re-dressed all internal wiring. Think of this amp as a "balanced and blueprinted" stock amp, with better input and output jacks (Tiffany-style) and an improved power cord. It'll definitely "play nice" if used with a bone-stock amp, in a bridged (one amp per channel) setup, like many people seem to want to do with these amps.
For info sake- these amps were made in the late '70s, just prior to the Stasis series (in fact, these were what lead to the Stasis units, AFAIK). They were part of the "rack mount" series that Nakamichi had available at that time (IIRC, the 600, 610 and 620 and the rack created a basic system, with other accessory pieces to be added to taste). However, they are perfectly well suited for use as stand-alone amps, in either stereo or bridged-mono mode. The amp is rated at a very strong 100w/ch.
Selling for: $250.00 plus shipping.
If interested, please contact Gordon- PM (GordonW), or email ( gwaters@postmaster.co.uk ). Please include your address, for the purpose of calculating shipping cost. I have fashioned a virtually-bulletproof shipping box for this amp... so, it should be able to survive most anything other than having the shipping truck flatly run OVER it...

Gordon.
Congrats! Well worth it for the buyer, it sounds like!
