I just recieved my 1st 3 head Nak from Scorp on a trade. I now have 5 Naks. I would get rid of a Bx125 that is a 2 head that the Nakdoc overhauled. I'm about to pull it out of rotation and put the 3 head in its place.

Congrats. The Nakamichi decks helped changed the perception that the Philips designed cassette tape was only for dictation purposes etc., and low quality music storage. Now that you have five of them what's your opinion about it?
Can you post a pic?

So far after I got back into tape. I will only own Naks. Even their entry level decks sound great. I'm trying to get Scorp to trade me for a 581 3 head. The 3 head I just got I do notice a difference on recording.A picture of which one? The one I just got has meters and not LEDs. If I was going to get into cassettes and wanted the best bang for the buck on a entry level deck it would be a Nak.

Beautiful unit.
I don't know why but i always find cassetes kinda like the mp3 of today, maybe because of portability... maybe because i always thought that also because of tape degradation and so, and never took cassete tape as a serious music storage device, until a few years ago when i listen to a Nak at a friends house....
Enjoy the new toy. soundt/thumbup.gif
