Elroy,
Actually, my question was directed at damage's post. Can't say for sure I know how an $800 speaker sounds but I do know how a $5.93 speaker sounds like biggrin.gif.

For $800, it better sound "damn good!" wink.gif

Took some time to arrange some of the audio so thought I would set up another system while I was cleaning. Due to their relatively small footprint I was able to squeeze the Ohms onto the fireplace hearth. About five feet apart. Powered them with the Pioneer SX-828 and using a Micro Seiki DD-20 with an AT cartridge. Popped on some Blondie. Very nice clean and uncoloured sound. Vocals are sharp with ample bass. Two concerns. First, they appear to be power hungry rated for a 30-150W amp and 89db. The 828 is toward the bottom end and I would hate to overdrive it so it looks like I may sub in either a big Onkyo TX8500 or a Sansui 9090DB (if I can remember where I put it:blink:). Second, I do not know if the tweeters should be inside or outside. Presently, I have them on the outside. It's a bitch to move them around but unless someone offer some insight I will have to do the deed. At any rate I will also add the Kyocera CDP to the mix.

To acheive Full Room Stereo the speakers should be set up six to eight  feet apart with the Ohm logos pointed so the crossfire is in front of the listening area.

they dont have any info on the FRS-9 but this is for the 11's and the 15's so i think its a safe bet its the same for the 9's as well.
