I am currently using KLH outdoor speakers both in my fishing boat and on my deck, these are cheap and easy to find while garage sale hunting, they aren't bad speakers but I am wondering what others may be using. The KLH's have good seperation, are clear, but lacking in the bass department, in their defense it is difficult to create bass with that small of an enclosure and materials, imo. As far as wether endurance I have left the set on my deck out year round and they don't seem to have suffered for it.

I've done that too, but I am currently looking for more neighborly alternatives.

You've seen my outdoor speakers..........
I'm using a pair of these

hooked to an SAE R-9 receiver at the pole barn, they can be heard all the way down to the river.

I picked these because of the grills, I put 1/8 inch hardware cloth over the ports to keep the mice out.

Edited.
Sorry, i thought we're talking about outdoor speakers.
You know, the ones who stands out in the open whatever the weather is.

I have a pair of Dayton Audio that I got from Parts Express. They have held up for 3 years so far. This year a Robin made a nest on top of one. So now I have a "Rocking Robin" at my place.
I have a pair of KLH 970A speakers also. The used to be in my boat, but I took them out when I sold it.
