My Peavey SP-2 ti speakers are missing the crossovers. I want to make them work. I'm an experienced electronic tech. Can I find the schematics somewhere and build some crossovers myself (where can I find the schematics?). Should I try to buy something off the shelf somewhere; these are old speakers (probably more than 20 years old). I want to learn a lot about speakers and speaker repair. After many years as a computer/electronics tech I want to start working the the coolest stuff, audio speakers and components. Where do I get good training material on speaker/audio component repair?

Alternatively you could get a good but cheap Behringer Electronic Crossover and use your speakers multi-amped.

You can build your own. How many way are they? All you have to do is build a 1st order xover with caps and inductors. to find your values you figure how low you want to go and at what point you want to xover. Go to Parts Express they have alot of books plus all your parts. The books will explain all the xovers and have the formulas to get where you want to go.
