As discussed in the above thread- anyone wanting to see a return of the audiophile grade tapes, join us in sending Maxell an email stating your wishes. Tapes like XL-IS, XL-IIS, MX-S, and Vertex. Reel to reels and cassettes. Some of us have already written them and a few of us did get some replies. They are forwarding our emails to the appropriate department. So if you want Maxell to consider making a limited run or small batch runs of their best tapes, tell them that. It won't happen if you don't email them. The more people who respond, the more we'll get their attention.

A lot of us on TH have already sent our e-mails off to Maxell. I strongly encourage all audio fans to help pitch in, regardless of how much tape you currently use, because it's only a ground swell that will get them motivated to do something like re-introduce tape. Even if you're a vinyl nut, tape and vinyl go hand in hand. Thanks!

even for those of us who are digital only, its a worthwhile effort that will forward enjoyment in the audio community.
