my creek intergrated doesnt have a phono amp. could i use a grant fidality phono amp on it?
this may sound dumb if a tube amp is itergrated can you still put a phono amp to it ? will it harm it?

It won´t harm it, at all, Larry.

Connect your TT to the phono amp, and the latter to any available input on the Creek.

All the phono amp does is to increase the very low cartridge voltage up to workable levels in a line level pre-amp, aside from providing RIAA equalization, of course.

Just about any modern phono amp will work with todays cartridges and line level only pre´s.

do you get tired of my questions?

I don´t, and I´m sure you have a lot to teach us here, too. wink.gif

My answers might be slower in coming over the next few days, though, seeing it´s Christmas and all.

If they were tired of questions, they would have kicked me out the day after I joined.
