I took two recivers out today and brought in the 650, just hooked it up and pluged it in. all the lamps work and sounds pretty decent, does a fine job pulling in stations. I'll give her a bath and get up some pictures. Not bad for $10.

At this point it is only driving a small pair of KLH deck speakers, never anything good till I have time to go through it. These little deck speakers are not bad for what they are, but they are $1 per pair at garage sales. These little speakers get about 30 mpg. biggrin.gif

At $4 dollars a gallon still worth the trip to the flea market to pick it up.

The case is a little rough, I don't know what or how much I can do with the case but the rest is great, so far.

PS that gives me three in the -50 series, I will try to take a picture sometime of the three together, the 850 and 950 are in mint condition.

I always love Pioneer receivers. Maybe because it was my first "true amp" there i bought with my own money in the seventies.

Enjoy. soundt/thumbup.gif

I had a nice little 650 that after spending 3 nights cleaning the pot gue and cig smell of it became a real nice little set. Sold it to one of my best buds for his model aiplane building shop. He mostly listens to FM with it but I did sell him a little CT-F500 cassette deck so he could wear out some of his old cassettes.

I think the Speakers he got wear a pair of smaller Radio shacks not in the Minmus line.

I got her cleaned up and put her on the deck, kind of nice to not have to get up and go in the house all the time. I am going to hook a cd/dvd type player to it so I can either watch movies or listen to cd,s out there also.

I will get the pictures uploaded and posted soon.

I picked up a small JVC reveiver at the flea market since this one, just a little 15 wwpc, but for $6 I bought it, the only thing it needs is to have the posts and switches celaned like the Pioneer did.

I listen to a SX650 6-10 hours a day as my office system. They power a set of EV interface II's and the setup is very good sounding.
