Dunno if I mentioned this before...


Had been hunting for one for a while. Picked it up about a month or so ago for cheap- the seller was a bit lazy and didn't bother cleaning it up- still had remnants of a chocolate bar on it.

And it was missing the solid oak panels.

No biggie- I like rosewood better, anyhoo.

So, for a fraction of what they sell for, I scored it.

But shame on me- so busy with other things, still haven't hooked it up.

I can say this about it though- it's a quality build, very, very solid, and from owners of the PSE pre-amps, this is a great sounding pre.

I'm very pleased with my Sansui CA-2000, and Philips SC-80, and this PSE is just extra icing on the cake of good fortune I've had scoring some affordable gear.

Plans are to mate the Thiels with it, along with the EAD DAC, and the Sansui 717 tuner.

For now, the POA-1500 denon amp, and down the road, hopefully a PSE or B&K amp.

So dang busy with work and house repairs (gutter busted, pipe broke) I haven't had a moment to breathe.

Heck, my tuner is still at the tech's shop. Freshly aligned and calling my name.
