As the editor of Affordable Audio, I am very interested in reader interests. My reviewers need ideas of what readers want to read about. I have done this same topic with excellent success in other forums, so please post what you want to see reviewed in our publication. We have already reviewed several of the items from the other forum.
Chances are pretty good, that if you want to read about it someone here wants to write about it!

i know of one ST member system (in Portland, OR) that would make for an interesting read, but i am not sure if the owner would be up for such a piece.
comparisons with competing gear are always good, but accommodating manufacturers can be hard to come by.
not a review, but i've always thought a sit down with Aerial's Mike Kelly would be a fascinating read.
i am always interested in good sound from budget, used, vintage and diy gear.

Bill Dudleston at Legacy Audio might make a good interview.

How about an iPod dock shootout. Both w/ fixed output and variable for connecting direct to a power amp or powered speakers.
We have all heard about the Wadia. They can't be the only game in town. The Pro-ject V dock looks interesting.
You did say your name is Affordable Audio. The iPod Classic or Touch could be a great source.

Cary's budget Audio Electronics line is very nice. How about the latest additions to their line-up, the Super Amp MkII and AE-3 preamp MkII.
I simply love my Superamp 2. It has the new upscale transformers Cary uses in their S120 poweramp, plus it can use a whole range of tubes besides the EL34's it comes stock with.
Just my 2 cents.
