Grant Fidelity- 10-09-2008
Looking forward to meeting those that can attend. Anyone here going?

Lots of new toys to show off there including 'Baby Rita' (RITA_340, $4495), possibly the most amazing sounding EL-34 amp you've ever heard, yes better than my old fav A-34.

Our MDVD-100 Tube DVD Player ($1195) will be front and centre as we start our Home Concert ™ demonstraions. The MDVD-100 is getting the thumbs up from quite a few as our best sounding CDP !!

Our TJ Full Music 300B/N, 300B/C and 300B/SE tubes will be on diplay too, as well as the new TJ 12AX7 Gold Pin tubes.

Very good possibility our new Electrostatic LoudSpeakers (Thin Air - ESL08) will be on display. Our RBS-1 Bookshelf ($2195) speakers will finally be launched. Pre-orders will be taken for the first signature run.

Some new 'tweaker' cables will be there, as well as some gear from our friend Noel at Skylan.

The main thrust of the show will be our packaged systems based around either the RITA-880, RITA-340, A-348 and A-534 tube amps.

Many commented on the excellent sound and 'thank you' prices. It took me about 15 minutes to get the sound I wanted from this system, the room was fine. Everything is Grant Fidelity products, from the Power Conditioner out except the Skylan stands from Noel.

Our RBS-1 2-way monitors were a big hit and the final first order xover tweek was completed 5 minutes prior to the show opening smile.gif

RITA-340 was shown to the public for the first time and everyone loved her, while not quite as refined as her KT-88 big sister RITA-880, she may be one of the best integrated EL-34's ever made, a musical hit where those that listenened to her stayed in the room a long time.

Rachel was showing off our new line of TJ Fullmusic 300B's including the never seen in NA 300B/se, which are targeted at being an upgrade to the WE 300B NOS, which have gone thru the roof in pricing.

soundt/master.gif soundt/woot.gif very drooly stuff Ian, as a certifiable 'stat speaker freak, I'd like to know more of these Thin Air speakers, I looked at your link, and didn't see any mention of them (but, I'm a Texan so...) Thanks for the update and the pics.

Hi Craig, they didn't make it in time, the wiring and paint decided not to meld together. I'll do some sneak peaks here when we are closer. Prototyping is fun, but hey I finally got our RBS-1's finsished and while they will never be like our ESL's they did the job a lot better than a lot of very expensive things I heard there.

Clint, they are Morels, very nice to work with, which btw I do by ear.

Glad you like the pics, we had a great time and lots and lots of great feedback from the attendees and especially the Audio Societies, one of whom helped coined the phrase 'thank you pricing' smile.gif
