Way above your $20 a piece budget, right? Will you go over your head and bid on those? Best looking amp & tuner from the good old days, IMHO.

Cheer up Gino, it´s all our fault, really.
It´s people like us, and sites like ours that keep pushing the prices on these things up.
It´s inevitable anyway. The rarer these things become, the costlier they´ll turn.
Look at the bright side, though. In another couple of years we might be able to find the original Krells, Mark-Levinsons, Audio-Researches, Conrad Johnsons, and the like, for basement prices.

There's still hope, gents. Though their prices are creeping up, the offbrand thrift store in my town wants $50 for a "mini-component" set (translation: crap), but they still sold me a nice Kenwood KT-6500 tuner that matches an amp I have for $4.55, and a Sansui TU-517 for $5.55 (also got a Sansui reverb amp for 3.55 same trip). Yeah, they like the number 5. But I'd say the trend is the thrift stores are starting to find out what this stuff will fetch. Garage and estate sales are probably the best angle to find true scores.
And I'm with you, Hakka. For the vast majority of stuff, I'm not likely to spend more than 20-30 bux. I'll change that strategy for truly high-end stuff I really want.
